What is Microneedling?

Microneedling is a minimally invasive cosmetic procedure that’s used to treat skin concerns by collagen production, also known as collagen induction therapy.

At SilkMed laser and skin care we use the highest quality, medical grade, sterile needles for precision penetration and maximum safety which offers the best results. The healing response triggered by the treatment stimulate collagen and elastin production which will improve fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, large pores and also help reverse skin damage from the sun and tightening the skin.

Since Micro needling isn’t invasive, the recovery time is minimal. Most people require very little downtime, if any at all. Ideal results are achieved after 3 sessions each 6 weeks apart.

You may notice skin redness within the first few hours which is a natural response to the treatment and it will be treated by using the home care package provided to you.
